Use the exact WiFi name and password
The QR code uses the network SSID exactly as typed. One extra space or wrong capital letter can stop the code from working.
- Choose WPA/WPA2 for most modern networks.
- Use no password only for open guest networks.
- Turn on hidden network only if the router does not broadcast the SSID.
Keep the QR code easy to scan
Strong contrast and enough quiet space matter more than decoration. If you add a logo or frame, use high error correction and test the download.
Print and place it thoughtfully
Place the QR code where guests can scan it easily, such as reception desks, rental welcome cards, classrooms, or event check-in tables.

Which WiFi encryption should I choose?
Most modern home and office networks use WPA/WPA2. Use WEP only for older networks and no password only for open networks.
